The origin and story of TFN_
TFN was born from real-world experience — not theory. When Michael Wegener served as Head of Product Management at OTTO, he faced a challenge familiar to many tech leaders: finding enough full-time talent fast enough. Out of necessity, he began forming cross-functional teams from independent experts — long before this became standard practice at companies like Google. He sought not just skills, but people driven by passion and proven experience. Together, they mastered enormous challenges and delivered breakthrough results. That became the seed for TalentFormation.
Building on this experience and his PhD research, Michael developed an innovative framework for creating customer-centric, high-performing, and sustainable product architectures and organizations — designed to let teams operate in flow.
